Important Update: FTA extends deadlines for VAT Return submission to May!

The Federal Tax Authority of the UAE has issued an alternative deadline for VAT Returns submission and VAT payment. According to the FTA’s decision, the alternative date of VAT Return submission and payment which were previously due by 28 of April is now postponed to 28 May, 2020.

Taxpayers who have monthly tax periods must submit their returns, and settle the payable tax for the tax period from March 1 to 31, 2020, no later than May 28, the FTA said in a statement.
